Walnuts are exceptionally nutritious. Each walnut portion will provide you with fibre, protein, healthy fats, vitamin E, pantothenic acid, potassium and phosphorus.
Walnuts are high in antioxidants: They fight to reduce oxidative damage to our bodies’ tissues caused by free radicals
Walnuts are high in omega-3 fatty acids: the omega-3 fats in walnuts is called alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) which is an essential fat your body can’t make and has to be consumed through your diet. ALA helps to maintain the healthy function of the heart. Thiamin contributes to the normal function of the heart. Phosphorus contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
