Manuka honey is harvested by bees from the nectar of the Manuka Shrub. Our honey is lovingly sourced from the Taranaki region of New Zealand. Manuka Honey has been used for thousands of years for many different health needs and is rich in the compound MGO (Methylglyoxal). The MGO is used to measure the amount of the activity within the honey. The higher the MGO number, the greater the antibacterial & antimicrobial activity. This Manuka with a MGO of 50 is great for everyday usage. Simply add to your porridge, cereal or hot tea.
