Holland & Barrett's D-mannose Effervescent UTI Care helps to prevent the recurrence of urinary tract infections in the bladder caused by E-coli (bladder infections or cystitis). Cystitis is inflamation of the bladder, usually caused by E-coli. Symptoms of a bladder infection are: A burning or painful feeling during urination; urge to urinate; frequent urination; abdominal pain. It is free from antibiotics. To help prevent recurrence: 1 a day preventive. Medical Device: D-Mannose Effervescent UTI Care is a class lla medical device in accordance with the European Directive for medical devices 93/42/EEC.

Full ingredients:

Citric Acid, D-Mannose, Sodium-hydrogen-carbonate, Corn Starch, Beetroot Powder, Sorbitol, Wild Berry Flavour, Inulin, Sucralose.

Directions:

To help prevent recurrence: 1 Effervescent a day. Disolve in water.

Advisory information:

Consult your doctor if: You discover traces of blood in your urine; You have an existing medical condition or are taking other medication; You have symotoms of bladder or upper urinary tract infection such as fever of 38 degrees celesus (100.4F) or higher, non controllable shivering, nausea (feeling sick), vomiting or diarrhoea. You may suffer from an upper urinary tract infection which needs additional treatment; You have a history of kidney stones; You take blood thinners. Duration of use: do not use for longer than 30 days in one treatment period. Treatment can be resumed after 4 days.
