Alpha Lipoic Acid is a fatty acid that is found naturally in every cell within the body. It is soluble in both water and lipid based tissues and functions well alongside vitamins C and E as well as glutathione. It is also a powerful anti-oxidant and has an essential role in the metabolism of the macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins and fats)
