At Holland & Barrett we are passionate about only stocking products that benefit you while causing no harm to our planet. So, back in 2018 when Greenpeace alerted us to the potentially unsustainable fishing practices of our suppliers, we made the decision to remove it from our shelves.

But we have good news! Krill oil is back at Holland & Barrett and 100% sustainable. We promise to only work with suppliers and fisheries who are registered with ARK – the Association of Responsible Krill Harvesting. ARK members have all voluntarily committed to stop fishing in extensive areas around the Antarctic Peninsula to prevent damage to the delicate eco-system.

To make sure the krill oil we stock stays sustainable in the long-run, we will continue to work with our suppliers so you can enjoy the many benefits of krill without worrying about it damaging our oceans.

Bioglan Red Krill Oil Capsules offer a more advanced source of healthy omega-3 fatty acid which supports brain health and normal vision. Each capsule combines 335mg red krill oil and 200mg fish oil for an excellent balance of phospholipid bound Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA).
